Dramatic rise in tension between Iran and Israel
The tension between Iran and Israel has worsened following the recent murder of Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan.
Israel has not denied any involvement in the attack, which experts believe was to delay Iran’s nuclear development plan.
And just last week Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Iran for terror attacks on Israeli diplomats in Georgia and India.
Observers are increasingly concerned that Israel could try to bomb Iran’s nuclear power plant in an effort to stop the production of nuclear weapons.
2SER’s Anthony Sonego spoke with Dr Benjamin MacQueen, Middle East specialist at Monash University and asked him first to comment on the attacks on the Iranian nuclear scientists.
